Welcome to Steve Miller Studios. This site is in the process of being moved over from www.JourneyInOils.com. I work in oils, pastels and charcoal. You will find both Studio and Plein Air work here. The subject matter in this body of work consist of places I have visited, from Texas to Georgia to Maine. Landscape, Architecture, People or Animals…the scope of the work is wide. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Works are avaiblabe at Adobe Western Art Gallery in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards and the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Weiler House Fine Art Gallery in Fort Worth and Art on the Square in Waxahachie, Texas.

I use quality materials, such as Winsor Newton Artists’ Oil Colour, Richeson Oils, Gamblin Oils on canvas and panels. Most of the pastel works are created on Ampersand Pastelbord, using quality pastels like Sennelier Soft Pastels, Schmincke Soft Pastels, Rembrandt Soft Pastels, Prismacolor NuPastels and Cretacolor.

Limited edition Giclee prints on canvas are available for a very few works.
